Who We Are

Richard is a knowledgable and adaptable Video Specialist and Teleprompter Operator with over 45 years experience in Video and Multi-Media Production including Event, Creative Services, Social, and other areas of production. Richard's AV career started in junior high and includes 22 years at Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment in Burbank, California, before starting his own freelance business in 2013.

Richard's extensive list of projects not only includes shows all over the U.S., but also Roadshows across Europe, Australia, Japan, and Mexico. While on the road, Richard was faced with many situations requiring him to find creative (and quick) solutions to language barriers, equipment/technology challenges, etc.

During his tenure at Disney Home Entertainment, Richard was a pioneer in the development of methods and practices for delivering presentations in High-Def, in conjunction with the launch of the Blu-ray format, helping bring High-Def into the home. Richard worked closely with his engineering colleagues, as well as AV equipment manufacturers (Folsom/Barco, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, and Sony),
to develop these methods and help move the format, and High-Def in general, forward.

Early High-Def events included the Chicken Little Rollout event at
The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, a High-Def/Blu-ray retail summit in Orlando, Blu-ray Disc Association Board Meetings in Los Angeles, and many others.

While at Disney, Richard also established standard practices for weekly M-Show/WebEx conferences many years before Zoom meetings were common in the workplace.

Richard loves to share stories from these early days... Just ask!
